The orange hues in the standards along with the splash of colors in the falls give Smith Rock an explosive personality. Blue purple centers, red, burgundy and a quarter inch buff border deliver the goods. Absolutely tantalizing. The best has been saved for last – giant red-orange beards, as red as the rock face of hills for which this stunner was named. Smith Rock State Park, located in the high desert of eastern Oregon, is said to be the birthplace of American sport climbing.
