New Discovery is a semi-evergreen tetraploid daylily featuring 5.5-inch diurnal blooms with deep orange petals (RHS 25A) and a grayed maroon eye (RHS 173A). The flowers have a tiny deep orange throat (RHS 25A) and a heavily ruffled double edge marbled in orange and maroon.
