Mexican Holiday

Here we have a bright fiesta that is one of the first Tall Bearded Iris to bloom. This variegata has brassy gold standards and rich maroon falls. The perimeter of each fall has a 1/4″ band of bronze-gold at its edge, which is the same color as the standards. A good grower, Mexican Holiday yields many more flowers on three branches often having 11 buds per stalk.
